Keynote Highlights

Charles Lamanna kicked off the conference with an inspiring keynote celebrating the community, sharing our vision for the future, and showing off exciting demos.

Driven by the theme of visionaries, an energizing kick-off video raised the crowd’s mood before diving into exciting developments and insights. Charles explained how the Power Platform and Copilot continue to empower users and businesses, while transforming how and what we build.

Charles' keynote also included 10 major announcements and set the tone for the conference, emphasizing the transformative power of AI and the innovative capabilities of the Power Platform. The audience was captivated by the energizing demonstrations and the vision for the future, kicking of a fun and memorable PPCC24.

Copilot multimodal capabilities:

Derah Onuorah showed us how users can now leverage voice and visual input when recording actions for Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This makes automation of complex processes more accessible and intuitive than ever before.

Collaborative Creation with Plan Designer:

Ryan Cunningham introduced the new Plan Designer in Power Apps. Anyone can now build solutions in a collaborative and iterative creation processes with Copilot. This is a huge productivity boost for app makers, covering essential features like data modeling, security, UX, and even workflows.

Copilot agents:

Lydia Williams demonstrated how anyone can build Copilot agents to perform tasks ranging from retrieving information to automating entire workflows in Copilot Studio. Agents can act on behalf of users, creating plans and tasks based on the knowledge and instructions provided.
